Hey guys, doing a little presale here~~ I know it's a little late to be selling holiday cards but I hope you guys will still take me into consideration!

5"x7" card (about A5 size) printed on heavy matte cardstock and comes included with matching red envelopes for impact! Trust me, receiving cards in the mail in a bright red envelope really makes things stand out. Of course, there is no watermark on the printed copy.
------------ Holiday Card Information --------------------
- $15 for a pack (6 cards; 6 envelopes)
- $3 each (1 card; 1 envelope)
Prices are in USD with free shipping within the US. Let me know if you're international -- probably just add $1 more to the price.
Payment method: PayPal only, please!
These will be shipped out on December 5th.
Reply in a comment if you're interested! Thanks a lot, guys.
---------------------------------------- ----------------
I'm essentially making no profit on these things; I just want to be able to spread my artwork around during the holiday season for a few smiles. : ) Having my artwork on greeting cards for sale has been one of my childhood dreams, so I'd really appreciate any support!

Crossposting off deviantART lmao cos I'm lazy:
Hey everyone, I'm back!
One of the personal reasons I took time off of deviantART was to finally get off my ass and create my own art site! I've uploaded larger, revised versions of my artwork to the site, as well as other images I've never uploaded to dA before -- it's pretty simple right now, but it has all the essentials that you'll need, so please go check it out!

Also, Anime Expo is FAST approaching! You'll find me with my lovely
zimmay together at seats A48 and A49 near the deviantART booth at the main entrance. Here's a map of the Artist's Alley and here's a closeup. Sitting behind me is the amazing talented chocosweete who I adore greatly and I look foward to meeting new people!
I'll be selling new prints as well as buttons, and chibi keychains (that I won't be uploading here, sorry; but here's a little teaser: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v 292/finni/keychain_photo.jpg) that sell out fast, so if you're interested, please come earlier rather than later!
I'm also going to have a few prints drawn by Noxy to help her out with her AX expenses this year. If you play Ragnarok Online at all, you've seen her work before, so just come check it out!

As for commissions, I am limiting the number of commissions I take (done in watercolors) to a maximum of 3 per day, so please come early!
I'll be cosplaying Daisuke/Davis Motomiya from Digimon02 on Friday; female monk from Ragnarok Online, and Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender on the other days. And in other con news, I'll be attending Otakon in the Artist's Alley at table C13 (with
zimmay again, so please check us out!) as well as Anime Weekend Atlanta in Georgia during September!
Whew, that was a lot of text!
Let me just pimp my new art site one more time:

Thanks everyone and see you at AX'08!

HI EVERYONE.
THIS IS NOT MY WEEK!!!
Everyone who was hosted on kologaria.com.... well, the domain ran out and I didn't check my email and now some other site took the domain name and they're asking me for $200+USD if I want it back, so EVERYTHING IS DEAD!!!
KOLOGARIA.COM IS DEAD.
Don't worry, I still have your files, it's just that now the direct links will NO LONGER WORK and now I have to get a new domain name. It's ok for me because, well, I've always kind of wanted a new domain. XDDD BUT
REALLY SORRY GUYS.
I still have your files, I'll send those over ASAP.

Fanime Artist Alley people!
I talked with the coordinater and he was really helpful; have a chatlog!
( Questions about the seller's permit, fanart legality... etc.... )
He's fast and very helpful. 8D
Hopefully that helps some people who are looking at Artist Alley stuff for Fanime, including YOU, EMI, if you want to sell at either my table or Ritsu's. 8D
Also for people who are worried about KINGDOM HEARTS FANART.
Okay must rush around!!!
Ritsu you wanna plan so our tables are near each other? They're assigning places so maybe we can spazz over the map when it gets passed around to us, then...?

Hi everyone! I know I don't post publicly on my journal often but in this case, I really need any and all input that I can get. Plus, I'm sure people who want to get an art table at Fanime are just as confused as I am. Information for all!
I'm writing a series of essays for school on artists' copyrights. I've been researching myself to DEATH how it applies to the internet (aka how to sue art thieves if we really wanted to). Lately I've been doing extensive research on fanart and the legalities of it. I'll be sure to post these essays on the internet for people to read in the future. Honestly, I'm only writing it because I don't see any really comprehensive ones out there already.
I've a pretty damn good understanding of copyright and how it is applied to the US. This country is good in many ways in that it protects the people, their ideas and their works, but it makes a fanartist such as myself so. SO frustrated. Yes. So frustrated. Especially since I am going to be selling a few prints of my artwork (or try to) at the Fanime Convention coming up in May. To me, that is like... woahmygod way too soon. WAAAAAY too soon.
It's no longer the problem of getting someone to print it or whatnot. The problem is the legalities of it. I know the chances of Suiesha suing me are slim to none, but I want to be totally concious of every step that I am taking.
Does anyone know how animated series or manga works in Japan apply to US fanartists? Many big companies in the US allow fanstuff to exist (there are other book authors however who have a baseball bat shoved up their ass and actually sued fanartists for drawing a derivative work from their book and simply had it displayed. No money made) but I am unsure about the Japanese side of it.
I'm pretty damn sure no one will buy originals. XD
I'm not doing this for profit, more like the experience, but I don't exactly want to walk away from the convention with barely breaking even.
Speaking of which! (Ritsu pay attention!)
( Seller's permit, the government, and everything else concerning an art table at Fanime'o6!! )
Anyone who has extra information pertaining to the legalities of fanart, selling it for minimal profit (though 10+ copies means mass production, I may only sell 9 copies of each print for this reason (I don't think I can sell more than that anyway)) and more specifically how Japanese laws play a role in this (Berne Convention for people who want to do additional research), please contact me or post a comment. Please. My reading of Japanese is so limited (and I read so so slow that I give up by the end of the second paragraph) but Japanese artists are able to sell doujinshi at conventions with seemingly little or no problem. There must be something in the Japanese laws that the US does not have. Even though the laws were enacted in Japan, they still apply to the artists in the US because we are drawing their characters.
Furthermore, anyone who is (or was) a business or economics major, or anyone who has tried to start their own business and is willing to help me out with this, please send me an email at finnilj@gmail.com? It would seriously be very beneficial and this whole experience will seriously be one helluva learning one. My head is hurting.
More information to come later.
